Centrifugal juicers allow more oxygen into the juice than the more expensive juicers, and therefore the juice should be drunk within a few hours, before it starts oxidising. Using the product is quite simple. You pick the vegetables that you are juicing, and you load them into the tube at the top of the machine. There is a solid tube that you then place in the tube to hold the vegetables down. You press on this quite slowly, to get the most benefit from the vegetables. The juice pours out of a spout on the right hand side. Make sure you have placed the measuring jug that comes with the unit under the spout before you switch the machine on, or you will end up with carrot juice all over the worktop. Advantages: Powerful juicer that will take large chunks of fruit and skin.

...I had wanted a juicer for a while and decided to buy a good powerful one. The juicer Breville JE16 is powerful and does juice well but isn't very user friendly and do you really need all that power? I don't believe I do now I own one. It is a rather larger juicer compared to others I have seen and you need a large kitchen to be able to accomodate it. I find that it is awkward to clean and you often get leakage when juicing. There is a grey beaker that all the pulp and skin goes into that you can empty detach and clean. You also have to take the top off and this has to be cleaned after use, along with the inside juicing plate and the stopper you use to push doen the fruit. There are 4 detachable parts that need cleaning after each use. I would not recommend spending money on this juicer if I was to buy another I would choose... Read review

...I am someone who hates cooking, and as I live alone do not get my full quota of fruit and vegetables, because you start off with all good intentions to have healthy meals, only to find out everything you have bought has gone off! I thought about buying a juicer which would ensure I got my daily nutrients in, and having read lots of reviews on juicers I decided to opt for this particular model. I believe that the AWT (Antony Worrall Thompson) juicer is the best juicer on the market. It is manufactured by Breville and is also known as the JE2. The Breville AWT Juice Extractor is sold by Argos, Comet, Curry’s and department stores and retails at around £90.
