The juicer Breville JE16 is powerful and does juice well but isn't very user friendly and do you really need all that power? I don't believe I do now I own one.
It is a rather larger juicer compared to others I have seen and you need a large kitchen to be able to accomodate it.

I find that it is awkward to clean and you often get leakage when juicing.
There is a grey beaker that all the pulp and skin goes into that ... ...take the top off and this has to be cleaned after use, along with the inside juicing plate and the stopper you use to push doen the fruit. There are 4 detachable parts that need cleaning after each use.
I would not recommend spending money on this juicer if I was to buy another I would choose a smaller less powerful one that took up less room and was easier to strip down and clean.

I was also suprised when buying this that it did not come with a beaker that fitted under the spout where the juice comes out, you have to use your own glass. For the price you pay I would have expected a perfectly sized glass, to be provided. Overall I have been disappointed with this juicer and would not recommend it to others
Advantages: extract juice from many types of fruit Disadvantages: Bulky, huge, must peel the oranges, makes a lot of froth, time-consuming
...This is not what the Breville Anthony Worrall Thompson Juice Extractor JE15 does !
It seems that the fruits are grated and spun to maximise the juice extractions (I thought the extraction was via a press): this means that the oranges (and other citrus fruits) have to be peeled first.
Having discovered that I could not insert whole unpeeled oranges, I also then realised that:
a) it is really huge & bulky (many times the currently used Philips comfort ... ...into a glass: you must use the large & bulky jug which is provided or else the juice will splutter all over your worktop as it comes out at high speed from the spout;
c) it seems to extract more juice than the Philips press but a good proportion is "froth", which does not taste nice, and this is why the provided jug has a froth separator;
d) cleaning theJE15 is a much bigger task than t cleaning the Philips citrus press: there are 8 separate pieces ...
