I'm so happy with this juicer. It was easy to assemble, it's easy to clean and produces fresh juice that isn't 'bitty'. My Kenwood blender claimed to juice but it was awful so I bought this.

Advantages: Value for money, looks lovely, produces lovely juice, easy to use Disadvantages: Quite noisy
I'm so happy with this juicer. It was easy to assemble, it's easy to clean and produces fresh juice that isn't 'bitty'. My Kenwood blender claimed to juice but it was awful so I bought this.
It looks wonderful, it doesn't take up much room and as far as juicers go, it's pretty easy to clean. It is rather loud, but as you would expect from any juicer or blender.
The health benefits of making your own juice are vast and homemade ... ...don't due to the pasteurisation process and added preservatives.
It's true that you will need quite a lot of fruit and vegetables to produce sufficient juice (this is the case with all juicers) but that's the joy of juicing - you get a load of nutrients you wouldn't usually consume.
This juicer has two speed setting, one for soft fruit and veg such as apples, peaches etc and another for hard fruit and veg such as carrots ... more

The health benefits of making your own juice are vast and homemade juice contains a whole load of things shop bought juices don't due to the pasteurisation process and added preservatives.

This juicer has two speed setting, one for soft fruit and veg such as apples, peaches etc and another for hard fruit and veg such as carrots and cabbage. The best thing is, you don't need to peel or prepare anything, just chuck it in the ample sized hole and away you go. I find adding a square of ginger root makes my juices taste delicious.
Advantages: 700 Watts motor, which gives you a timing of 10 seconds per fruit! Disadvantages: Does not extract fruits with stones in them. You have to cut them up.
We bought this fantastic machine today, and are very impressed with it on the very first day! Cost £49.99 from argos. The first thing we extracted were oranges. We used 5 oranges, and it filled up the whole jug. So that gives you a estimate of 4 - 6 oranges depending on the size. We then treid extracting juice from some mangos. We put it in, and we tried but the juice never came out and we wasted a mango, so remember not to put anything with a stone ... ...for each fruit at the speed of two. The machines is fairy small, and it also includes a bursh which you use to clean the machine with. Do not use a spunge or anything to clean the machine with. Because this may cause scartaches on the machine and it may not operate properly. Overall it is worth the money, fairly easy setup and does the job! I wouldn't bother spending more money on the expensive ones, because they all do the same, and i think with ...

Quick review of Breville JE24
For a machine purchased for around £50, it performed very well. The 700w motor worked effortlessly and the quality of the extracted juice was as good as what I have tried from more expensive juicers. Overall a good allrounder. ...

Advantages: One touch juice Disadvantages: difficult to clean
...most of its competitors the Breville juicer can not hold as much pulp as such units as the Philips RH818. Cleaning of the juicer is also difficult and there are many easier juicers to clean.
so after various tests that i have caried out rather than keeping the je24 i will be keeping my previous juicer as it is easy to clean easy to use and all round a better juicer than the je24. sorry breville , better luck next time. ...

Advantages: Stylish Disadvantages: Requires very large amount of fruit to produce a decent amount of juice.
I received this juicer as a Christmas present from my partner and was rather excited at the thought of being able to have fresh juice all the time. However, I was sadly dissapointed. We used it for the first time on Christmas day and juiced around five large orange and an apple which produced a rather pathetic small glass of juice. To actually end up with a jug of frech juice you would have to use a ridicululous amount of fruit and it would cost ... ...the procey Tropicana juice from the supermarket. The juicer worked fine but it has never been used since and we are now thinking about trying to sell it on Ebay to get our money back. So overall, it looks nice and stylish on your kitchen worktop but doesn't actually get used. ...
