I notice the other reviews seem good, although some of course have ... ...an the old one. Breville must have serious quality contol issues and in my view the model is not fit to be released for sale. I am waiting now for their comments. It would be nice if they put their hands up and admit this kettle is rubbish. Nothing short of a refund would make me happy now. I can't see I will buy an Breville product ever again after this experience. Their customer service to date leaces a lot to be desired too.. I can't believe it ... more
Initially I was very pleased with this kettle. It boils quickly & pours well. The glass case is excellent for helping you boil just what you need.
However now had the kettle just over 6 months and it leaks. A part from being very annoying it is also potentially dangerous.
I can't return it to EmpireDirect as they no longer exist. Breville have agreed to me returning it to them, but refuse to pay the postage.

Well I paid just under £6 to send the kettle back & new one arrived end of July. This one is leaking just the same as an the old one.
