...Sunday 17th.August 2008.After looking at dozens of toasters including Porsche/Siemens...I saw this one and decided to buy it.I can tell you I wasn't disappointed!It's fabulous.It has so many lights its like the star ship Enterprise!The toaster must be used on lowest setting first time without bread to remove the new element smell. I did two cycles to completely remove the smell.The toaster has a blu Breville logo which lights up constantly even when not being used ..also a digital blue number stays on to show you what heat setting you are on.And when you insert your bread the fireworks begin.There are 12 lights in all and the toaster glows in a neon blue.Very stylish without being gimmicky.As the toast browns a set of 5 LEDs gradually turn themselves off indicating the stage of Browning...The whole design is well thought out... Advantages: 4 rounds at 1 time

...This sandwich toaster satisfies in a major way! My first experience of sandwich toasters was as a teenager when my Dad bought a Breville. We then spent every weekend coming up with new recipes for toasted sandwiches! As a adult with my own family I bought a little known brand, 2 round toasted sandwich maker. People might say that a toasted sandwich is a toasted sandwich but I was mightily disappointed with the quality of sandwiches that were limp, mainly breaking apart and didn't live up to the memories. I had some spare cash and saw this Breville Quattro in a local store and bought it with no hesitation. Whilst it is on the bulky side and it can be quite difficult to store because of it's size it is extremely easy to use being a great "plug and play" item. The unit heats quickly, toasts quickly and cools again quickly... Read review
