Breville PT47

This is the worst toaster I have ever bought and I have paid as little as £5.00 for a toaster in the past. For the price this is useless. It burns the toast on one side while leaving the other side barely coloured. Frozen bread is left soggy. The lever mechanism is jerky and usually takes more than one attempt to make it work. It is also difficult to remove the toast as it doesn't allow you to lift it far enough. Also there is only one lever so you can't operate it separately for 2 slices. Quite a large toaster. Unfortunately never toasted evenly and after 18 months had to give up with it due to seeing sparks inside. Oh, and the sliding handle never worked that great either. Usually took a few tries for it to stay down. I should really have returned it to the store straight away. less
