I bought this deep fat fryer recently when my previous one packed up! I like the style and design.It fits in well with all my other kitchen appliances and isn't hard to store on the side as it isn't a huge fryer. I chose this fryer as I like the brand Breville and I liked the idea of the name being Breville VDF018 PROFESSIONAL Deep Fryer, I first off wouldn't say this fryer is professional but it does what is needed.

You can fit 3L of oil in the fryer and 1L of food. This is all I need, its mainly used fro home cooked chips, scampi and bits like that. For a family of four it is just the right size. The fryer comes with a temperature control which is an easy to use dial at the top. There is also an indicator light which switches on when turned on and switches off when up to heat.

I paid £29.99 for this fryer on Amazon and am happy with the price I paid, it is used only a couple of times a week, but I find it easy to use, easy to clean and a good working fryer. There is a basket for you to use which the handles are obviously heat proof so you don't burn yourself (I'd expect this of any fryer) There is a lid for easy storage, it's just a shame there is nothing to help with the splatter.

I have now noticed on the market you can get fryers where you keep the lid on whilst cooking which obviously minimises the oil that is splattered around the kitchen. You can get these fryers for about the same amount but I am happy to use this one, It doesn't take much to wipe the side down after every use and keeps it clean and clear of oil.

I have also recently found out you can take the fryer apart quite easily I did this when I changed the oil and you can clean the different hard to reach bits. This is very handy and only takes 10-15 minutes so well worth it.

With non slip feet so it stays easily in place and a cord storage at the back so the cord isn't all over the kitchen work top definitely makes it look tidy.

Obviously not the best product on the market but I am going to rate excellent as it does exactly what I need it for.
