Advantages Simple to use, affordable, stylish design and compact storage.
Disadvantages Basic features but covers most bases for me.

When I began my search for a deep fat fryer I wouldn't say I were very well equipped with the expertise of what I had in mind. Things such as what capacity I would need, what settings or features to look out for etc etc weren't on my mind at all in fact! The Breville VDF021 is one of the more basic deep fat fryers from the Breville range, costing around £20-£25. I bought mine on the highstreet from a locally run electrical store. The Breville VDF021 has a generous 1.5litre capacity which I find to be more than adequate for my needs. The food capacity of this fryer is 750grams, so it is more ... more
