Advantages: Best cricket game at the moment, play world cup, test and one dayers, all teams Disadvantages: Poor fielding, test match unrealistic
This is my second cricket game that I have ever owned for console - the first was the original BrianLaraCricket Game. I haven't played on any of the other previous BLC games before this. I also chose to get this instead of Cricket2007 (EA Sports) after reading reviews and playing both games at friends houses.
The game is a good, realistic(ish), cricket game that is the best out there at the moment.
Starting with the positives. I like the bowling and batting. They are easy to pick up (perhaps too easy - see later). With the analog stick you can place shots to perfection. Also batting is all about the timing - too early or late and the shot is not good. Bowling can be varied with special deliveries (although it can be hard to actually get this to work sometimes). The variation on ball speed is good as well.
There are plenty ...
Advantages: High authenticity and supreme realism Disadvantages: Graphics sometimes pix-eleated
I big cricket fan and player i am i was finally relieved to see the latest edition of BrianLaraInternationalCricket. After a two year wait was it all worth it?
It was pleasing to see the graphics had been improved, player authenticity was a big improvement. Faces had been improved to distinguish certain players but some were still the basic formats. It was nice to see the that the newer ranges of bats such as the Gray Nicholls predator and Slazenger SXI, although it was a bit of a disappointment not to see the Woodworm or Puma range. The most impressive section of this game play is the players use their real life bats such as Strauss using the Gray Nicholls predator. The all new formats such as the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007,West Indies and the ICC Champions Trophy, India add amazing realistic features and group formats ...
Advantages: graphics Disadvantages: fielding to hard
today i will be reviewing brianlarainternationalcricket2007
firstly let me say the graphics are really good in my opinion
one problem i do have is that just playing international matches it seem to get boring when on other games you can be county teams aswell as the international teams
another problem is that the names are not right at all.
the fielding is also very hard to master with all the diffrent buttons you must press to get the fielder to do diffrent things
another thing that i have noticed is that the wicket kepper semmingly just knocks the bails off the stumps even if the batsman is in his crease.
batting
batting is always dun you can move the batsman either way to position the batsman for the rigth shot, shot selection is rather easy all you got to concentrate on the timing which is not always ...

Manufacturer's product description
:Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 expands the series' trademark fluid, dynamic gameplay mechanics to deliver a thoroughly entertaining and competitive game that captures all the tension, skill and intensity of world-class international cricket. Thanks to the official ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 content, Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 features licensed players, including world cricket stars Andrew Flintoff, Ricky Ponting, Mahendra Dhoni, Muttiah Muralitharan and of course, Brian Lara himself. In addition to players, the game leads with a dedicated ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 mode featuring all the official teams, stadia, kits and equipment of the tournament. Further modes include a fully licensed ICC Champions' Trophy competition and exhibition matches including One Day Games, Test Matches and exciting 20-over run fests. When you want to get competitive for real, Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 delivers online competitive play on PC (LAN and online) and Xbox Live.Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 adds extra depth to the series' complete batting, bowling and fielding experience whilst retaining its trademark accessible playability. The acclaimed batting play sees the introduction of subtle edges, sweepshots and the ability to use your feet to dance down wicket and smash the ball over the boundary for six.Bowling sees a much-improved set of delivery types, thanks to changes in the way the ball swings in the air and reacts off the pitch, showcasing Shane Warne's huge variation of spinning deliveries and Steve Harmison's raw pace and even reverse swing as the ball degrades. In Fielding, there's a new reflex-testing slip catch system and players can now be run out at both ends and be stumped by alert wicket keepers.A striking advancement is the photo-realistic visuals; with hundreds of real player likenesses being modelled in high detail, complete with animated facial expressions to capture the intensity and emotion of international cricket. Stadia, including all eight official World Cup venues, have also been created with a new level of textured detail and they make use of proprietary shader technology for realistic, subtle and changing lighting effects, such as time of day and weather.
