Having owned and used a Britawaterfilter on a regular basis for several years, I couldn't resist purchasing the Elemaris when I saw it on offer at a bargain price on the shelves of our local Asda.
My original filterjug was full of water, so the first thing I did on unpacking the Elemaris was to pour a glassful from each jug to compare them. I was pleased to observe that the water in the glass poured from the Elemaris appeared cleaner and much clearer than that from my old faithful.
On tasting both samples, the one poured from the Elemaris won hands down - it tasted much fresher than the drink from the other jug.
Our tapwater has quite a nasty taste when unfiltered but the Elemaris removed this.

We live in a hard water area in Bristol and are always having problems with limescale - we've been through many kettles in the last few years. My husband and I are used to the taste of the water now, so we don't really notice it, but when we have visitors they often complain about the drinks we serve.
