This is a great car seat for toddlers, which I would definietlty recommend without hesitation. I bought this car seat for my son when he was about 14 months old, and chose Britax because they specialise in carsafety belts. It is designed for children from 9 months to 4 years, who are between 9kg and 18kg. It can recline, and also has wings in the child’s head area, to protect from side impact.
Moving the car seat I regularly have to swap this car seat between two different cars, and it is very easy to fit, and also surprisingly light to carry.
Use: My son looks well restrained in this and is well padded and comfortable. On long journeys we can easily recline the seat, sometimes in transit, simply by reaching back and pulling on the handle under the seat. Having said that, in my car the back seats are slightly sloping, and this restricts the recline of the child seat: we are only able to take advantage of two of the five recline positions.

Adjusting: My only slight gripe with this car seat is the adjustment of the straps, to move them higher as your child grows. Being slightly spoiled with the rock-a-tot deluxe baby seat, which is complete simplicity to adjust, this involves removing the car seat, taking out the straps and then threading then through the higher hole in the back of the seat. Thankfully, you don’t need to do this too often. However, this also needs to be done in order to remove the cover for cleaning.
Tray table: I bought a tray table to match this car seat, but have never used it, as I am not sure whether it could cause my son an injury if the car were in a crash. Unless you are convinced it is safe, don’t bother getting one (at 3 years old, he can reach toys from next to the child seat)
This car seat is definitely worth the money, but shop around. I have never paid full price for any of my children’s car seats.
