Advantages: Fits kids from 9mths to 12 years old. Looks Great. Comfortable. Disadvantages: Not an isofix seat. Price (but justifiable)
...Halfords we decided on the Britax Evolva Ultra 123 in the Geneva finish.
We chose this seat for several reasons including the fact that it is designed to last from the age of nine months (or 9kg) to 11 years (or 36kg) and can be adjusted to grow with your child, it is well padded and seems very comfortable even for our 6 month old (who is very big for his age!) and lastly because it looks so very smart.

As my young man is now too big for his rear facing car seat we needed to invest in new car seat. After spending some time looking around online and "testing" the seats out in our local Halfords we decided on the Britax Evolva Ultra 123 in the Geneva finish.
The seat is well padded and has washable covers (a must with children) and pull-out drinks holders on both sides which are a bit stiff on ours but perhaps they'll loosen up with use.
The seat has padded adjustable side wings which hold my son very snugly on the smallest width setting, it also has a height adjustable headrest which pulls upwards as your child grows. Both the side wings and headrest provide extra impact protection.
It has a five point harness with padded sections. This can be tightened with one-pull (making it looser takes a bit more fiddling about though!) and is height adjustable until your child grows out of it. The five point harness can then be removed (and stored in the back of the seat) and the seatbelt itself can be used with the seat through special harnesses and guides built into it.
It has a one recline position for younger children but you have to put the seat into either the recline or upright position before you fit it as you can't adjust it once it's in without removing and installing it again. For younger children who doze off in the car the reclined position seems best for us as my son tends to drop his head forward, if reclined the headrest offers good support for sleepy boys!
The seat is easy enough to fit and took under 5 minutes to do. There are red seatbelt guides to aid installation and for future use when just a seatbelt is used as the restraint. We bought ours from Halfords who fitted it for us but we've since adjusted it and found it easy to do ourselves.
The seat is available in four different fabrics: Les Arc (Blue, Black & Grey) Val d'Isere (Red, Black & Grey) Chester (Lilac & Blue) Geneva (Black & Grey)
As I said we went for the Geneva and it looks very smart. This seat does look a good quality, solid, comfortable seat.
The seat costs £130 in most retailers. We looked online and found the cheapest one was £108 but they didn't have them in stock and after 3 weeks couldn't say when they could get one to us so we went to Halfords and they fitted it for us instead. The price may seem expensive but as this seat is designed for use until your child doesn't need a car seat we saw it as a good investment. Due to the fact that car seats designed for use for up to 4 years old probably won't fit our son that long (he's very tall and his big brother at 7 years old is now too tall for child seats!!!) this way we'll avoid shelling out twice.
We think this seat is great and are going to get another one for our second car (oh how easy it was to move the rear facing seat from one car to another!!!). We waited a number of weeks to test the Evolva Ultra 123 out first before making this decision so we obviously think it's good if we are willing to spend that kind of money on another one.
Advantages: Good price, very long life, good looking, safe and comfortable, easy to install. Disadvantages: recline feature not usable in my car, adjustable sides dont stay in place
...larger.
I used the britax fit-finder on their website to check that this fits in my car before I bought it, I found this feature useful too, have a look: http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/fit-finder/ I purchased my Britax Evolva 1-2-3 Ultra from toys R us, where it was on a special offer for £99.99, they usually retail around £119-£129 I have found, so I considered this a bargain. It is in a colourway called 'Ellen' which is a nice bright red, with ... ...with more than one child, Britax do produce various colourways, so another child could have one in a different colourway to enable them to have their own seat and make it feel more personal.
The seat is a stage 1-2-3 so, for stage one, you use the integral harness to secure your child, then as he or she gets older you can adjust the size of the seat, height of the headrest and remove the integral harness, just using it with the 3 point belt in the ...

...she was sat on the Britax Evolva 123 Ultra she put her head to the side straight away and quite happily stayed there. The sales assistant pointed out that the sides were good as they offered protection in the event of a side impact collision and provided extra comfort for a sleeping child.

Soon after buying the car seat, my daughter had an accident on a journey and the seat cover was easy to remove and washed really well.

Overall we are pleased with this product and it should last us for a number of years (product states it lasts till 12 years ...

Advantages: deep impact protection, padded, comfortable Disadvantages: none
...seat, I came accross this Britax Evolva. It stood out alot more better than other Car Seat's I found on the Internet.
The seat is for ages 9 Month's to 11 Years old.
The brilliant thing about this Seat is the Safety Strap which show's if the restraint's have been pulled tight enough to securly hold your child in.
The HEadrest moves up for when the child grow's and the restraint's can be removed once grown out of them and the backrest can be removed ... ...car.
Underneath the booster seat is a moveable (either forward or backwards) reclining piece. This can only be set up when the carseat is not in place and secured first.
I have previously used Britax Car Seat's so I already knew that the brand is very reliable. ...

Our 10 month old little girl has outgrown her rear-facing seat and I plumped for this due to the age/weight range covered and the quality of the build.
Colour: Geneva
Fitting in car: Simple instructions and DVD -though it did take a few minutes to get it right. Very solid when mastered.
Features: Safety Strap system to show if the straps are too loose. Seems to work well and is not simply a gimmick.
Comfort: Good all-round support. The adjustable ...

...the decision to buy a Britax Evolva 123 Ultra - Having had the seat in and out of the car on multiple occasions, and now having watched other families struggle to do the same, I must confess we both feel we have purchased one or, if not the market leader in such seating. It is extremely easy to fit, and just as easy to adjust, it even comes with two little cup holders in the base for you to place a bottle or cup. The upper part of the seat is fully ...
