this is a great seat. it feels very solid and secure and although is fairly heavy its easy to swop between cars. i drive a mini and stuggled to find a forward facing seat that fitted the sporty rear seats and this is a great fit, it doesnt move at all.

this is a great seat. it feels very solid and secure and although is fairly heavy its easy to swop between cars. i drive a mini and stuggled to find a forward facing seat that fitted the sporty rear seats and this is a great fit, it doesnt move at all.
the large head rest supports a sleepy head wonderfully,even in in the more upright position, and gives lots of protection in the event of a crash something that i felt many seats, although they have side impact protection, didnt do.
in order to recline the seat you have to take the baby/toddler out and undo the seat belt which can be a pain if you intend to recline the seat often. however, i have found for a smaller baby (ie 9-15mths or so) i kept it in the reclined position and keep it in the more upright position for an older toddler. if im going on a longer car trip with an older toddler i just keep it in the reclined position.
the cup holders are useful (although they could have been a little larger as only a few styles of beackers will fit them (try the tommee tippee easiflow beakers)). the covers are easily removeable for washing and come in some great colours (i have it in jigsaw (black) which looks great on my black car seats.
as baby/toddler grows the harness and headrest hight is easily raised (or lowered) so no fiddling about with rethreading harnessess through holes, and then when they no longer need the harness it simply stores in the back of the seat (i tested this out and it took me less than 3mins to remove the harness and then put it back on again!).
the padding on this seat is wonderfully soft (in my opinion much more so than many of the stage 1 seats i looked at).
when fitting into the car it can be a bit fiddley the first couple of times untill you are used to it as you have to thread the seat belt trough the back of the seat but once your used to it it takes no longer to fit than anyother seat ive tried. if you have a mini i have found when fitting the seat putting your knee into it and pulling the seat belt tight makes an even beeter fit.
all round this is a great carseat . it feels solid, secure and safe and its very comfortible for little ones (and bigger ones!).

Advantages: safe,well padded and lasts till they are 11! Disadvantages: its not isofix
...more so than her other Britax seat as it is more padded around the head I believe. I think it also gives a slightly better view for the child than some seats. The one negative I would say is that you can't recline the seat once it is in the car in the normal mode. However my daughter falls asleep in it without it being reclined! This is not however an ixofix seat which is the only thing in my opinion that would make it vastly better. If they brought ...
