hi, i'm a mum of two young children looking for ways to still enjoy life while stuck at home a lot! Chocolate is top of the list so far..... although walking 4 miles a day to and from the local pre-school is growing on me!

I got the first class when pregnant with my first baby as I have MS and didn't think I could manage with seats that you take in and out of the car. I just wanted to take the baby and leave the seat behind!
You do have to have extra long seatbelts to fit the seat rearward facing and have quite a bit of room between the front seats. We had a Mondeo so it fitted with no problems at all.
It is quite hard work to get strapped in correctly when it is rearward facing but then you don't have to take it out again so it's worth the effort. Due to this I gave it an easy rating for installation. It is very easy to fit forward facing.
When our baby was first born she was quite tiny (6.5lb) and the newborn insert supported her very well. We did at first find the seatbelt annoying when taking the baby in/out but then we realised you can easily tuck it under the side of the seat and it stays out of the way but then you need to remember to lift it back up again before driving away.
I did find it got quite hard to put my daughter in when she was approacing her first birthday. She had to stay rearward facing as her weight was under 20lb but she was quite tall and stroppy and she would kick a lot but then that problem would occur with all car seats! Also having MS made it harder for me as I am a bit of a wimp.
Just over a year old she reached the 20lb mark when we could turn the seat round and she loved facing forwards and it was much easier to get her in.
It is very easy to take all the covers off to clean which I found out when my daughter had gastroenteritis and was very poorly while in her car seat.
When baby number two came along we were very happy to use the seat again for her.
