AdvantagesLarge company

DisadvantagesWould you like people shouting at you..?

"...about the beginning... I worked for British Airways for nearly two years, at Heathrow, Terminal One. My job was that of Customer Service Agent (CSA) and I checked in passengers and also boarded flights for both international and domestic flights. BA is a very good company. It has built it's reputation and sincerely deserves to be the British flag-carrier. I can honestly say that the customer service provided by BA is second to none. That old ..." Read review

British Airways is a great company to work for on placement.

Advantages

Disadvantages

"...are several drawbacks to a British Airways placement: the living expenses are quite high as the only placements I knew of were in and around Heathrow Airport, I didnít get any help with finding anywhere to live (although there are plenty of rooms advertised locally because of the number of cabin crew in the area), and due to cutbacks industrial placements were being limited to a year so you canít work for the full 15 months between the end of the ..." British Airways

Advantagesstaff travel

DisadvantagesToo many things can go wrong and lack of proper training

"...rude staff, cancelled flights etc. British Airways does make mistakes, only because there are so many things that could go wrong. Think of a chain, if one link breaks the chain crashes. For a British Airways experience to be faultless all the chains have to work together, from the ground staff, baggage handlers and flight crew. British Airways does have an extremely capable team who deal with complaints and therefore can (not always) restore customers' ..." Read review

Second to none airline!

AdvantagesGreat service in a crisis

Disadvantagesnothing at all

"GREAT AIRLINE!!! I've been flying with british airways now for about 4 years. In that time i've had nothing but second to none service, the staff are so nice and helpful. For some reason the media (especially BBC news) hate britih airways, if something happens within the airline industry the media are there right outside of BA's offices!!! But they have great lounges, great wines and champagnes on offer and all in all great service. They once lost ..." Read review

FLYtastic

Advantagesexcellant customer service

Disadvantages? none

"i think British Airways is absolutely fantasic! Their range of flights and planes are truly amazing, and the customer service they offer is truly outstanding. They offer many different services, including economy, business and first class. Even the economy class - which is the most popular, is up to scratch! Their in-plane service is great, and even though flying may be a little expensive, you get good value for money. The food is like any ..." Read review
