Advantages: The British during D-Day Disadvantages: I need more!
...After reading both Band of Brothers and D-Day and enjoying them immensely I had to get my fix with another book by Stephen E Ambrose. That book was "Pegasus Bridge: D-Day - the Daring British Airborne Raid"
While Band of Brothers focused on the Americans, D-Day on the all the beaches in turn, Pegasus Bridge is only about the British and their airborne raid. This was one of the most important and crucial missions on D-Day.
