If you are looking to train in complimentary health therapies or the beauty trade I can highly recomend the British School of Yoga courses. I have just completed their course in manicure and Pedicure and found it easy to follow, informative and interesting.
The practical part of the course (which is extra to the initial costof the course and must be completed in order to be able to get indemnity insurance so that you can set up your own business etc ) was excellant, not too taxing on the brain cells and great fun, with the tutor ensuring that you knew what you were doing so that you did not have to retake the training.
The only disadvatntage is that most of their practical centres are down south which can considerably increase the cost of the course when you take into consideration the travel and overnight accomodation costs.
However don't let that put you off I am already deciding which course to take next!!
Has the making for a very good op. You mention costs, but don't actually tell us what you paid. A bit more detail and it would be a lot better. Good luck. x

Congratulations on completing your course!Sorry about the low rating, what you have written is good, but you will need to put in more detail to get higher ratings. If you could include details about the range of courses offered, along with approximate costs and the amount and kind of work involved (assignments and portfolios, for example), that would be helpful. Don't be discouraged, you'll soon get the idea. My first ops weren't very good, but you'll find other members very helpful. Let me know if you decide to edit - leave a message in my guest book and Iíll gladly take another look with a view to re-rating. All the best - Catherine
