A new dawning and new beginning after a merger of British Steel and Koninklijke Hoogovens in 1999. The time bought a lot of uncertainty to steel workers across the UK. It was a time of change and a majority didn't like it. It came and it happened. Things ... ...logo is a symbol of confidence and a mark of quality and service. It did seem perculiar compared to the gritty blue BSC logo. The name Corus was selected to differentiate the company from competitors with a modern and distinctive approach supported by a strong visual identity, it certainly did that.
Corus is an international metals group that manufactures, processes and distributes metal products with carbon steel being it's main focus.
