Advantages: Everything about it Disadvantages: None found yet
...Everyone knows that there is nothing worse than trying to do DIY with cheap tools, as the finish is usually poor. Not the case with this saw. Although it is at the cheaper end of the mitre saw market, its build quality and ease of use are excellent.
To bore you with statistics, it has :
1.7kw motor, which spins at 5,000 rpm with no load.
10 inch blade
Side bars
Clamp
The 1.7kw motor is unusually large for a 10 inch saw, they are normally used on the 12 inch saws, which are too big and bulky for average DIY jobs. So this saw delivers the power but in a manageable size.
I have used mine for making picture frames, book-ends, etc., and am in the process of making a workbench. It is proving to be invaluable.

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: Can't get into the bottle, and its new name
...cream cleaner it will take forever to rinse off the surfaces and from your cloth. The liquid is white and quite creamy so it sticks fairly well to any vertical surfaces such as the side of the bath, giving you enough time to find your damp cloth and then wipe it all around. I have just started using the new formula, which is supposedly easy rinsing. Well it is as easy to rinse off as the old one but it doesn’t leave a residue behind – much better.
The Cif I use comes in a white bottle with a green flip top lid. This one has a gentle non-descript fragrance but there is a lemon scented one in a yellow (surprise surprise) bottle for those of you who like a bit of scent. The only problem with this new design of bottle – new formula, therefore new bottle – is that you can’t open the lid very easily with your marigolds on. So it is a bit...

Advantages: see opinion Disadvantages: lots of hassle to get the advantages
...the outside, opening windows stand proud of the main frame. If you have a multi-paned window this can cause the window to look unbalanced. Consider having dummy vents fitted so that the window looks even and, from the outside, you cannot tell which bits open and which don’t.
Equal sightlines is another consideration. Some installers will tell you that what I have described above is an equal sightline consideration. Others will tell you that it is the area of glass that is exposed to let light through being the same on all panes within the window. Whatever the true answer is, ask the question.
**How is it made?**
A distinction can also be drawn as to how the window is manufactured. Some windows have transoms and mullions (the horizontal bars and the vertical bars respectively) that are screwed together (mechanically jointed...

Being too lazy to go the cinema to watch this ‘tense psychological thriller’, its now taken me a sad lonely New Years Eve stuck in the house (and the fact that I’m crap at Prince of Persia), to sit my backside on the sofa and watch this movie. Don’t feel more
