Unsatisfactory Sky broadband connection speed and Router problems

Advantages: its free
Disadvantages: keeps losing connecion, very slow, customer sevices poor

BT Broadband BILLING SCAM - Charges are NOT as advertised

Advantages: Reliable Broadband
Disadvantages: Must pay by DD so they can take whatever they like, when they like. 'Customer service' threats

...and I have fought with BT ever since to get it and keep it as monthly. In any case, what happened to the £18.59 for the first 3 months? They could not answer that, but instead threatened me with breach of contract (a regular threat) if I didn't pay it all at once. I have checked the advertising, and the amount advertised for total broadband option 3 is definitely £24.46 a month This is NOT what I am now, or have been charged. They will not confirm ...

Tiscali B'band - you'd get better customer service from a corpse

Advantages: For two days in he last month, the fasted broadband I've ever had
Disadvantages: Aweful service, lack of support, poor connection and speed, overseas callcentres

In fairness I enjoyed 12 months of perfect broadband last year but having moved five doors down the road the last month has put me through every emotion of dispair humanly possible. Knowing I was moving I asked to switch my broadband which they said would be fine. Once in the new house I found that in fact I would have to cancel the old contract, start a new one and wait 2-3 weeks. After finally going live I have now experienced a month of phoning ...

GOOD SERVICE, EXCELLENT SUPPORT

Advantages: price and helpful
Disadvantages: takes a while to understand the computer jardon
