AOL Broadband and Customer Service

Advantages: You can cancel your contract anytime, even in contract for slow connection problems
Disadvantages: Call Center is not English and they dont respect customers.

HAving been with AOL since they first started, I am now on AOL 9 VR and have found it to be the worst yet. My Broad band drops from 5MBS in the day down to just 0.17MBS between the hours of 17.00hrs -23.00hrs or there abouts. Having resulted to using there customer services I hae restored my computer, changes my wiring and filters and still i have the problem. At one point, they killed my computer with there advice and I lost everything on ,my computer. ...
...I hae a slow connection. AOL runs a 50:1 ration and this is really poor if you hae 50 poeple at the same time. I hae been advised they can split this but it costs and AOL will not do it b ut they have recommended I cancel my account and go elsewhere. Hows that for loyatiy for all the years I have been with them. The call center in India is just a joke. The Best broadband for the price

Advantages: Speed of 4MB/s
Disadvantages: the router they give is abit rubbish

I got the service 2 months ago and i am very pleased. I got the no contract option, as i didnt want to be bound to a contract where if i liked the service i could carry on the service, the router they send is a generic router, i reccomend that netgear MIMO is used, as it is the best, i used to use the service in the postcode "E12 6PR" The broadband is the best, at 5.99 a month, and the no contract option is faster than the contract option, it is ...

Advantages: Internet always on - convenient

Charges to recieve your bill

Advantages: Brilliant Service
Disadvantages: Charges you to recieve your bill

I have has Telewest broadband for a while now and i have found the service to be brilliant - until Virgin Media got involved. The package i got was unlimited broadband, not sure what speed but it is perfect as far as i can see. also a landline that has free weekend calls from friday to sunday. this is very handy as I am mainly home at weekends. My evening calls are around 5p per minute to a landline, again working all day so im only home late evenings ...

Advantages: always online, good for email
