Too cheap?
Advantages: Very cheap Disadvantages: Too cheap!

I emailed Broadspeed to find out what was going on, and they said to wait.
Then I got ... ...This wasn't as simple as Broadspeed make out on their site - they said that they wanted written confirmation that I wouldn't place a private order via the dealer they'd introduced me to. I told them not to be so stupid, and that the reason I was cancelling was because they HADN'T introduced me to a dealer! A few days later my account was credited, and that was the end of the saga.

Then I got a quote. For £18k. This was from a Dutch dealer (I'd requested an order from a danish dealer).
I emailed Broadspeed. They said not to worry, I would be getting a quote from a Danish dealer. So I waited

Nothing arrived. After five weeks I asked for my fee back. Advantages: Price! Disadvantages: Non that I can think of - very easy!
...last car from Holland through Broadspeed three years ago. I was happy with the service and the (then) very big import saving. This time when I checked, Broadspeed has converted to UK cars only. I liked the Broadspeed site, easy to use, plenty of info. Prices were not as cheap as some other sites but they only use official dealers (not brokers or car rental companies like some sites). Placed an enquiry for a Mercedes E Class estate late one evening, ... ...a discount with a showroom. Broadspeed doesn't do this - it introduces you to a main dealer (ie a normal franchise showroom) having negotiated a discount. The dealer I was sent to said he sold 50 new cars a month through Broadspeed and he was well pleased (happy enough to give me the discount anyway). The web site is a doddle - just keep clicking the next buttons, filling in the boxes as you go. The last page of their enquiry gives you the dealer's ...

Quick review of Broadspeed Online Car Importer
Good prices but FALSE advertising. Web site claims you do not pay them a penny. "YOU DO NOT PAY US ANYTHING"... However, when trying to order a VW (to save abput £1500), they required that I pay them £850 in referal fee. In other words they are not getting this from the dealer. I repeatedly asked customer service why this was they case, and they were not adhering to the advertised process. They re-directed me to director and he never bothered to contact me.
Ended up go direct to the deal with broadspeed's quote which they came close to matching and there is no hassle in picking up a car somewhere in the UK ...

Advantages: easy, clear, honest, quick Disadvantages: none i can think of
broadspeed is a company/web site that I would not hesitate to recommend to car buyers. There are many sites out there on the web these days - but Broadspeed in my opinion is an excellent site that simply must be on your list of sites to visit. In fact, I took a long time to find such sites, and none compared to breoadspeed.
why?
Well, the site is very quick (really quick!), it is well laid out, and is robust (others fall down, as I am sure you ... ...common sense route from choosing the car to picking the detailed options and giving you a clear price in uk pounds.
All this is done without the need to mess about pre-registering too!
At the ordering stage the site is securely processing necessary personal details, and their staff do reply to emails quickly and politely.
I recommend them (I just don't know why other car sales web sites are so much slower and complicated than broadspeeeds). ...

...fantastic saving but I wish broadspeed had been more open about it's advertised costs,I phoned them as the dealer was unable to help but whilst agreeing the advert was misleading they were not very helpful,in fact I got two versions by 2 different people.
I will update when the car arrives to confirm if the end result was worth it. ...

...is £18,618 and via the Broadspeed web site I paid £16011 including 12 m tax disc and delivery to my door. Car was delivered by a helpful chap from the Audi deaqlership who explained how everything worked. It looked just like a new car should - I still love it! www.broadspeed.com offered the biggest dicount and a slick, efficient service. They only charge one fee - only if you order - it's £150. Considetring the saving that I made, I feel this is ...
