Terrible Agency! |
|---|
I temped with Brook Street two years ago and I have had to ask them recently for a reference. It was pretty telling that I couldn't remember anyone from the agency, because they didn't keep in touch during my employment at all. I have received a reply regarding references, a one line answer saying 'we can confirm dates of employment'. I don't know whether I have a bad reference or whether that's their referencing policy. I have written three emails in the last three hours and the response has been the same. Utterly rude, with no explanation given, so I'm still in the dark. I can't remember being very impressed when I worked for them, now I can say that they're the worst agency I've ever worked for. In contrast, I worked for a recruitment agency in Sydney Australia called 'Futures Recruitment'. They are fab! Totally professional yet very friendly and genuine. If anyone is going to Oz, get in touch!

Please ignore the comment below about updating your 'Circle of Trust' as he is seriously suggesting this becomes like a group of people that will always read your reviews.. -This is a totally untrue and against ciao rules to use your COT as a click circle and you could lose your membership by doing so. There are guidelines that would be helpful for you to read before adding people to your 'Circle of Trust' at http://www.ciao.co.uk/faq.php/Id/4/Idx/4 . Fiona(New Members Guide)
