    Advantages Advantages Low purchase price, cheap cost of refill consumables, good overall speed/performance

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Photo print quality only average (fiddly fine tuning), 1-sheet manual feed, slow start-up

    The great thing about this printer is the low initial purchase price (less than £130 in November 2011), and the fact that for under £50, you can get a full set of non-OEM toner refills (although you must first buy a Gear Reset kit for around £11 - this is a one-time purchase, however). I would also recommend spending an extra £15 on an after-market 512MB memory module to virtually eliminate any "Out of memory" error messages you might get when printing high resolution pictures (this is a GDI printer, as opposed to a PCL one).
