The HL-P2000 multi-function printer is the ideal solution to all your document handling problems. It is primarily a high speed, 10ppm, laser printer offering true 600dpi print resolution for both graphics and text. It allows both Windows and DOS users the capability to deal with almost every application, by providing automatic switching between PCL, Epson and IBM emulations. Optimized first page output is less than 20 seconds and Brother's own Data Compression Technology minimizes RAM consumption and gives a fast return to application. It has a powerful processor and 2MB of memory, as standard. Economy mode cuts toner consumption by 25% or 50% and the Intelligent Sleep Mode cuts power consumption to < 13W. The manual duplex and the "2 in 1" and "4 in 1" Windows printing modes cut paper consumption even further. The simple two part toner and drum system ensures full consumable life and effective cost control. The in-built copier function provides you with both a Photo copy and a Text copy choice for up to nine copies, via the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). It gives you the convenience of a conventional copier, simply and easily, via the Stop, Photo copy/Text copy buttons at up to 300x300dpi class / 200x600dpi. The Enlarge/Reduce button allows you to select any of the pre-set 50%, 71%, 141% and 200% choices normally found on office copiers. The integrated, 8 bit scanner allows up to ten pages of text and photos to be stored on your PC automatically via the ADF, at resolutions of up to 600x600dpi, interpolated. This TWAIN compliant device also provides you with excellent document handling capabilities using the Wordcraft Unimessage Viewer and Xerox TextBridge OCR software. Thus letting you manage your daily printing, copying and scanning needs completely, in one truly integrated, multi-function business machine, which occupies only the space of a conventional printer.
