This review is of the cyan colour of ink which is the blue-ish colour cartridge you have to get for your printer. The actual name of this cartridge is the brother lc 600C, obviously then this only fits inside of brother printers and there is also a limit to what brother printers this one can actually go into.
You can use this cartridge with any of brothers MFC 3100C, MFC 3200C, MFC 3200J, MFC 3220, MFC 3320, MFC 3420, MFC 3820, MFC 580, MFC 590, MFC 880, MFC 890, MFC 5100C, MFC 5100J, MFC 5200C, MFC 5200J. It also works with brothers 1800C fax machine too.
The great thing about brother ink is not only is it great quality and can get you some great prints as well as some great quality photos with normal ink like this, but the best thing is how cheap it is.
For this one cartridge you’ll be looking at about just £2 on eBay. If you buy the whole four set you can get them all for, the cheapest iv seen being just £6.99. This is cheaper than the usual price for most individual cartridge of other printer manufacturers for their ink so its fantastic value for money.
Brother also claims that on average this cartridge will last around 950 prints and is double the size of the other loc 600 cartridges as black usually gets used the most in printers, however if your mainly printing black and white documents like me then this will obviously not use any of the ink on these prints so it really depends how much of the colour is on your prints to how much prints this cartridge will print you, but realistically this should last you quite a long time, and for a price of just £2 per cartridge there really isn’t any need for sparing prints anyway. Even if you haven’t got a printer that’s compatible with brother ink then I would strongly advise getting a brother printer the next time you need to buy a new printer. The main reason being that it will save you about £20 every time you buy a new pack of ink cartridges compares to cartridges like Lexmark’s and Hp’s and even Epson ink is really expensive compared to the like of brothers.
