The printer can be used as a multifunction device, however i only utilise it as a fax machine. However i have the back up that if one of my printers breaks down i can use the machine ... ...an emergency scanner or photocopier, although you can only feed sheets through it, so its use is limited on these points.
The only slight niggle i have with the machine is that it does not seem to like my cheap copy paper that i use, and it sometimes requires that i only have one sheet in the feeder tray. Although this is really my fault as i buy the cheap paper! If i was expecting a large volume of faxes i would use better quality ... more

The printer can be used as a multifunction device, however i only utilise it as a fax machine. However i have the back up that if one of my printers breaks down i can use the machine as a back up it could also be used as an emergency scanner or photocopier, although you can only feed sheets through it, so its use is limited on these points.
