I have been impressed with this device - when I bought it brother had a 200 pound cashback promotion which was excellent as I bought the device for the cost of most inkjet rivals.
This device offers very fast colour and black and white prints. Unlike many laser printers the first print out is within seconds. The copy functions are also as fast and offer good quality.
The device has USB 2.0 and network ports. The network port is very handy for sharing this device to many different systems.
One major fact that made me choose to buy this device is that the toners have excellent capacity (10,000 page bk, 6600 page colour toners). For the same price as most toners half that size.
The only problems I have encountered with the product is the noise. The device is quite noisy when printing and when idle however the printer has a nice sleep function which you can set so the printer powers on when the next print job is processed.
The device is also quite bulky.
The paper tray holds a high capacity of paper which is great if you are printing in high volumes.
Brothers tech support is also excellent. It is UK based and the staff and friendly and knowledgeable. This is a service not much companies offer at this level i.e. dell or hp!
Overall this device's pros outweigh the cons and I would highly recommend it to you.
