...The Samsung NC10 weighs 1.3kg and the solid weight makes the NC10 feel more durable and steady. I like the matt finish and its slightly rough texture. What's more, the battery has an amazing life of up to five hours in standard mode . If you adjust the settings, battery life may just get up to an extra hour. The NC10 measures 260 x 170 x 30mm, with the 6-cell battery at the back, which added an extra 5mm to the total length. At first, you will feel uncomfortable when put on your lap but when it's put on the table, it raises the screen a little, making the whole thing ergonomically-friendly. ...I recieved this netbook for christmas and all i can say is 'wow'! My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. I was looking for a laptop which is very small in physical size while packing a punch so it could still carry out multiple tasks. Buying a full size (15.4") laptop seemed a bit pointlesss as i have two tower pc's which are my main machines, so this was just to be about casual surfing/ reading emails/ browsing while on the move.
