Advantages: It's low-priced but... Disadvantages: ... that may not be value for money really
I have been a consumer of Brothertoners for well over three years now, but my experience with them has not been nothing to write home about. Well, at least warrants a review here.
Printing quality is good... mostly. It's the quality of the toner itself I have an issue about. I bought this toner cartridge only a few weeks ago and I did not do much printing in the last several weeks, but the toner decided to die on me this morning. After we changed the toner, I decided to open up the old toner and was amazed on how much toner powder streamed out into the bin.
Let's just say that as soon as I can afford it will change my printer for a better one and for all I care, someone could the Brother laser printer for free. That's how crap the toners for them are... ...
Boots expert sensitive toner
I like the Boots expert range and find they suit my skin and cause no nasty reactions, so when this was on special offer at half price I naturally bought it.
The Hypoallergenic toner has been specially formulated for sensitive skin and contains aloe vera to soothe the skin. It will apparently sweep away the last traces of make up so that skin is clean and ready for moisturising. It is frangrance and lanolin free and dermatologically tested so i am ready for something very gentle as promised.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The lotion comes in a 200ml plastic bottle which like all of the Boots Expert range is quite simple and not at all fancy with the bottle being clear and instructions and information on the back of the bottle.
The screw on/off lid reveals the toner which As expected, is completely ...
Advantages: Great new product which is good for the enviroment AND your pocket!! Disadvantages: Only come in 150g bags, so not good for large offices.
from now on, I will be much more tempted to use this product instead, with the added bonus of less packaging waste and doing that little something to help the environment , the coffee is also gorgeous and I think my favourite one I have tried!
Kenco Eco Refill also comes in two flavours, rich and smooth roast, but I dare say if it proves popular there will be more and more flavours!
Price & Availability
When I got my Kenco Eco Refill it was on offer, I got one 200g jar of coffee and this 150g eco refill for just £5, but this offer is no longer on as it was quite a while back now.
The eco refill is now £3.58 (for both rich and smooth), in Asda for the 150g bag.
This is compared to a 200g jar of the same blend which is £4.88, the 100g jar is £2.65, so it is inbetween the two prices really. For me I think this is a good ...
