Robert F. Kennedy was the first conspiracy theorist about his brother's murder. In this astonishingly compelling and convincing new account of the Kennedy years, acclaimed journalist David Talbot tells in a riveting, superbly researched narrative why, even on 22 November 1963, RFK had reason to believe that dark forces were at work in Dallas and reveals, for the first time, that he planned to open an investigation into the assassination had he become president in 1968. BROTHERS also portrays a JFK administration more besieged by internal enemies than has previously been realised, from within the Pentagon, the CIA, the FBI and the mafia. This frightening portrait of sinister elements within and without the government serves as the background for the emotionally charged journey of Robert Kennedy. Reading it, you can absolutely believe any number of people would have been happy for both brothers to meet a sticky end. The tragedy, not just for America but for the world, is that since their murders no one has had the nerve to stand against the dark forces they challenged in quite the same way.
Advantages: easy to follow, well argued Disadvantages: none
..."All in the Mind," by Ludovic Kennedy- the title says it all really.Kennedy's thesis is that God is an illusion created and sustained by the human mind to meet human needs.Christians say that the existence of the Earth means there must have been somebody to create it, but Kennedy says if you follow that logic, then who created the creator? And who created the person who created the creator and so on.
After refuting the 'proof' of the Old Testament prophets, by showing that the New Testament writers altered the facts to suggest what they wanted to prove (ie that Jesus was the Messiah predicted in the Old Testament) Kennedy then takes us on a touor of the 2000 years of bloodshed that is the history of Christianity.Along the way we meet famous atheists and doubters such as Thomas Paine, Bertrand Russell, Charles Darwin and Sigmund Freud....

So, DavidTalbot, now a vampire, meets up with Pandora to ask her to write her life story for him, as Louis and Lestat have already done with their books. She is reluctant, but agrees.
The book then, is about Pandora, and what her life was like before and after becoming a vampire. How she was the only daughter of a Roman Senator, and her love for poetry and education. At the age of 10, she meets Marius, then a mortal, and is instantly drawn to him. At the age of 15, Marius asks her father for her hand in marriage, but he refuses.

Advantages: Another gripping tale of the vampire Lestat. A must for the Chronicle readers. Disadvantages: None
...’s and becomes a rock star. He has also drunk the blood of Akasha, which has made him very strong.
Although Lestat is a rogue and a dangerous vampire, he is actually very funny and likeable. The hero of these books if you like. He likes to take risks, and he does not comply to the rules of the elder vampires. He often finds himself in a mess, and in need of the elders help. He has become a great friend to a mortal being, DavidTalbot, who is the head of an organisation that deals with the supernatural, the Talamasca. David knows what he is, but the Talamasca’s job is to observe, not to destroy. David is an old man of 74, and Lestat has often offered to make him into a vampire, but David refuses.
Lestat often thinks back to his years when he was mortal, the times he loves the most. He usually only drinks blood from evildoers...
