Advantages: Colourful, Interactive, Entertaining and Fun Disadvantages: No Volume Control!
I absolutely love Bruin toys by Babies R Us. They're always brightly coloured, educational, fun, safe and extremely good value for money. Nearly all of my 15 month old little boy's favourite toys are from this range and they're so well designed that he has no trouble figuring out how to use them.
On Christmas Eve the poor lamb couldn't sleep because he's got four molars coming through so I decided to cheer him up with an early Christmas present. ... ...rotates round a bar, a bruin teddy bear swinging on a swing, an elephant riding a rocking horse and two giraffe like creatures that bob up and down from inside their tunnels! It's a cute and varied little scene to watch.
Not only is this toy thoroughly entertaining but there's a lot to be gained from baby's listening to the music, learning the tunes, working out how to operate the toy and creating his own tunes. One of my favourite things about ...

Advantages: Helps aid musical learning Disadvantages: Could be larger
...I am a music teacher so I am quite fussy about which musical toys I buy my children. This piano has a lovely sound and I found the piano keys to be easy to press. It has Five different musical instrument sounds and baby can compose, play and listen to with the piano. It has five pre - recorded tunes which baby can listen and sing along to.
It is very bright and colourful to keep baby's interest. Each piano key is a differnt colour which helps baby to identify different notes. I loves the little animals that pop up, twist, rock and swing in time with the music.
I think this is a fab toy and musical instrument for a baby. It is recommneded for 18 months plus, but an advanced and willing baby can use it from about 4months.
I would recommend this toys to all parents. You can buy this from Toyrus and cost £12.99. This toys is one...

Advantages: Bright, Musical, Great Fun Disadvantages: More pre-programmed tunes would be nice
...I saw this Piano in Toys R Us before my daughter's first birthday. Because she seemed so attracted to it, I was tempted to buy it for her first birthday. However, as it was suited to children over 18 months, I decided to leave it.
I was delighted though when she received it as a gift a few months later for Christmas. She immediately took to it and it's still one of her favourite toys, several months on.
Being a typical baby/toddler, my daughter gets easily bored with her toys. She has so many and it is very difficult for her to keep constantly amused with her toys. She often gets distracted and moves on to the next one (and then the next!!). However, with the Froggy & FriendsPiano, she will quite happily sit with it resting on her lap and pressing the piano keys or other buttons for quite a while.

Nintendogs has been slated by many, and loved by more. It is a game for the young, and young at heart. So far I've only really seen testosterone declare it unfit for the Nintendo DS. I'm hoping to revert back to my usual method of sarcasm and dark humour more
