Advantages: Bowling for "free" in your own home Disadvantages: Tricky, limited features, patience required

Player fatigue, equipment and reputation all affect your ability and skill to hit the pins, which is fine, but there should be other areas this game could reward you for overcoming these obstacles.

This is a typical case of "good in principle, bad in practise". They could have done so much more with this game but have sold themselves short on a greatr many levels.
It does reveal certain dimensions to bowling I'd not previously thought of, everything from the curve (hook) on the ball to the oil distribution on the lane.
Player fatigue, equipment and reputation all affect your ability and skill to hit the pins, which is fine, but there should be other areas this game could reward you for overcoming these obstacles.
You can dive straight in on a quick play, or set up a career. The choice of "lookalikes" is very limited (nothing like the options available when creating a "mii" on other wii games) but you can still find something different. Outfits and equipment can be purchased from the "pro shop" in career mode..... but with limited money making opportunities make the most of the $600 you start off with.
Apart from the actual bowling itself, the animations and enviromental graphics are pretty poor and lifeless. Hardly anyone is watching you, and aside from throwing up your hands in despair or jumping for joy there is very little animation from your character and the people around you as well. At least, from what I've seen so far.
There is background music while you bowl, but this too is bland and repeatative so much so it might as well not be on.
If you can handle the controls on Wii sports, then picking up how to bowl on this game shouldn't take too long. One thing I had to be aware of was the seemingly endless drift to the right..... and "fatigue" of my player which came in mid way through the 2nd game of 3 in a row. Fatigue, we are informed, is less common the more games you play and the stronger your arm gets.
As I said at the start, this could be so much better than it really is - so in that respect it is a bit of a let down. The only way you can earn money to improve your players appearence and equipment is to do well in tournaments. The rest of your time is taken up by "league nights" which cost $5 to enter and you win nothing at the end of it.
Still, I like ten pin bowling so it will keep me occupied, and practise does make perfect. However, it's very hard to be consistent in the early stages, so a lot of patience is required...... even if at times it seems quite monotonous.
Advantages: You can go bowling Disadvantages: Terrible Controls Won't last very long at all
...Wii to this day. Enter Brunswick Pro Bowling. To become more entertaining than Wii Sports bowling, taking into account the fact that Brunswick Pro Bowling is just about bowling alone, was always going to be a challenge. The question is, have Crave managed it?
Graphics
As soon as you start to play Brunswick Pro Bowling you will realise how bland and boring the graphics are. Obviously a bowling game doesn't need state of the art graphics, but the ... ...experience in a bowling game, Brunswick Pro Bowling isn't off to a good start. However, this isn't the biggest problem the game has to offer.
Gameplay/Lifespan
With Wii sports you can use your Mii, in order to represent yourself in multiplayer games and the like. Brunswick Pro Bowling does feature a character creation mode, but it is very basic to say the least. It is a real struggle to find a satisfying look-a-like. Then there is the very nature ...

Advantages: Fun with family members Disadvantages: hard to master
The idea behind this game is to bowl just like in the lanes at the local bowling alley however it is more like playing skittles in the local street alley. The controls are poor to say the least how ever the game is not all bad after u get used to the controls it can be a fun game to play with family members The graphics are nice and the game runs smooth and this could be one of them games where with a few careful tweaks by the designers could turn ... ...off being average/poor and grow as the series continues. I spent many a good time on this game with friends and family and so if you are looking for a quick pick up and go game then maybe this one is not for you however if you are looking for a game where you can play as a group then this is a good game. Overall this is not a bad game there is probably better bowling games out there. This is better then the one you get with the Wii but does not reach ...

Advantages: Hours of fun, great multiplayer action, get the best out of your Wii remote Disadvantages: Limited sequences for single player gameplay
Wii Sports only burns about an extra 2% more calories than other standard Wii games but I believe the figure is much higher than this. You can certainly feel your muscles ache after hours and hours of continuous play and this can only be a good thing. The tennis and boxing are certainly the more active games to play. All games collectively are great for multiplayer action and offer endless hours of fun. Even though I have purchased other great games for the Wii, I still find myself going back to this game time and time again.
As I've already mentioned, if you want more of a challenge and better one player action then you really need to invest in something like BrunswickProBowling or Tiger Woods PGA Golf to get the best out of these types of games but what the Wii Sports package offers is a complete sports package that is enjoyable ...
