I opted for fully comp insurance with my no claims bonus protected, full legal cover and a £200 excess if my car was in an accident and a £60 excess on the glass. For this i payed just £196 for a year which i payed as one payment by debit card.

Taking out insurance with budget is realy easy you can do it over the phone or on line in just a few minutes, you can taylor your policy to meet your needs which was great for me, they realy do offer a great service.
Since then i have phoned to enquire about adding hubby to my policy who only has a provisional licence and already has aquired 3 points, it is only going to cost me £48 more to have him on the policy next time. more

I was realy hapy to get a good deal and only have to pay that much but after a stone hit my windscreen and put a chip in it i became a little hesitant as to weather they would offer all they had said they would, one telephone call later and a repair man was on his way, i was told if they could repair the windscreen it wouldnt cost me a penny and if they replaced it i would only have to pay the £60 excess.
That sounded good to me, they repaired my windscreen without any problems and it didnt cost me a thing.

I will definately think twice before changing any where else, i have no quibble with the service they provide being top notch even if there prices are rock bottom

I told him i wanted to cancel the policy and was told it will cost me £30 to do so and had the check to say it was illegal to have another policy with another company while having one with them. Then to add insult to injury they wanted proof from me that i was insured with another company..surely its none of their business. Also they wanted a copy of my new policy with Budget which they claim was in the post...my insurance finished with them on 31 July so to date 9 Aug i have not received my policy with them (me thinks they have not put my door number down again)
its so appalling as they are quick to take your cash and whats worse they keep your credit card details on line so can just take the cash out. But when it comes to problems or sending information out they are slow and you get charged for their mistakes.

In September (sorry I lied to you earlier, it was not December - must have had a blonde moment) of last year, I got my renewal for my car insurance from the AA, guess what, it had gone up drastically. Now like everyone else, I find the average motorist is being hit hard enough with increases in tax and fuel without having to pay out over the top for car insurance. My renewal quote was for £467.00 this was for fully comp, curtesy car, protected no claims, legal cover and and excess of £100.00.
