Poor customer service
I had all my insurances with Budget basically based on price and how helpful they were on the phone.
Howvever as each policy comes up for renewal I am changing.
I renewed my car insurance in September but 3 weeks later the car failed its MoT and as it was too expensive to repair I decided to scrap it.
I rang to tell them and they said there would be a surcharge of £55, I had had the policy for THREE weeks. Their terms and conditions say they will charge a percentage, to me it represented 50%.
I wrote to their customer service department on 30/9/2007 and after 2 more letters I am on the 10th December still waiting a response.
They will of course lose more than that when I renew all my policies elsewhere.
