Budweiser likes to advertise itself as ' King of beers', but Im not sure it really deserves that acclaim myself. I like a beer, a lager, a cider etc and get through a fair few (probably way too... more

Budweiser is probably one of the best examples of the pilsner style of beer. It's a top quality, beautifully crafted example of how good a beer can be. First brewed in the Czech Republic way back in.....wait a minute - that's the good Budweiser. I'll start again. Budweiser, or to give it its friendly name, Bud is NOT one of the best examples of the pilsner style of beer. It is however a good example of the power of global marketing and clever advertising. Review #26 on Budweiser lager - WHY? Because, as Anheuser-Busch would probably agree, quantity far outweighs quality. Glancing through my ... more

Budweiser, ‘King of Beers’, is probably the best known of the American beers now freely available in the UK. It’s also the most popular. And that’s because it’s absolutely gorgeous. Bud lager was created by Adolphus Busch in 1852 and his original recipe still stands today. Apparently the key to its smooth taste is the beechwood ageing process coupled with a centuries-old European brewing technique called kraeusening. I have no idea what this entails, but the Bud company boast that no other beer costs so much to produce and I believe them. Ingredients of include ... more

So I slammed the door, ever so slightly too hard as I entered the bar. This went unnoticed and I was greeted by the usual Suffolk murmurings of "all right?" "Ow'yergoin?" But I had a need, a real need and I was thrilled when I got the usual greeting from our barman. "Whatll it be then, cock?" Dilemma, a choice, not good late on a Friday evening with the rigours of work bearing down on my befuddled brain. "A bud thanks, Neil" "A Bud, you feeling all right?" You see my usual tipple is a little more meaty. "A hard day, no worries though." Parting with my £1.50 was less trouble than I thought, as ... more

Advantages Advantages Available everywhere, smooth taste, doesn't give me a hangover

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be pricey in some outlets

Whhazzzup! Not a very original, title for a Budweiser opinion but hey, their adverts are great aren’t they! I normally drink Budweiser (commonly known as Bud) wherever I go. I was originally a Fosters Ice girl but over time (and a few bottles) I find that it can become quite sickly. Budweiser is different though as to me, it does not have the overly strong taste of Stella or the weaker strength of some other bottled beers. As with all lagers / beers Bud is best served chilled. I tend to drink Bottles of Bud in pubs (presently £1.59 in Moons/Wetherspoons) or from a four pack. Yesterday I ... more

Ah hello there its your favourite member Sheringham19 here ready to do another mind blowing (yeah right!) op. But its not my usual type of op, oh no this is on something I shouldn't be writing on. What it is you ask, what do you mean you read what the product was before I had chance to say, how dare you! Anyways, seen as how I'm only 16 and shouldn't really be drinking (yeah right again!) I have decided to write on my favourite beer - Budweiser. Who could resist the crisp taste of Budweiser between a meal, football match, out with friends or any other occasion. I cannot believe it only has a ... more
