the first time i saw it on the company's official web site- I WAS OVERHAULED!!! the sliding keypad and curved body made it look heavenly, but when i bought it all my dreams were shattered. Firstly the price tag is a very heavy one, i personally feel i would buy a fully loaded desktop, a motorcycle or even a used car for that much price.
secondly there is no practical usage of the numerous features that they have included.
however,this piece could be just perfect for a person who carries out routine activities like checking mails, paying bills and chatting through his/her mobile phone. no one can beat the x1 in terms of look and design, but ...

When I redecorated my flat I made sure there was plenty of silver around the main living area, with chrome edged mirrors accompanied by 2 silver and glass tables and to compliment this I decided to but the IDECT X1 cordless phone for £35 because it looks extremely cool and is packed with useful gadgets thats were bound to come in handy at some stage.
The phone sits in a little port which naturally plugs into the main socket to receive a signal and I have found that call quality is fantastic when wandering around the flat a distances up to 50 metres from the port. The battery lasts for anything up to 10 hours when not stored in the dock and the phone charges very quickly.
When in the port the phone has a speakerphone option which is crystal clear and the microphone seems to pick up sounds very well and I have no complaints ...
