The Buffalo Wireless G54S Wireless PCI card is a great card at an affordable price. The card boast many features which are standard to most cards theses days but the Buffalo G54S is one of the few cards that holds true to what it says on the box.
Operating in both 802.11b and 802.11g without problems I have experienced trouble free wireless networking. Its wide range off acceptable security protocols makes connecting to any access point a smooth process.
As many wireless users know poorly configured WiFi security can cause problems with connections often leading to the user option for an unsecured connection . The software package which accompanies the card makes the task of connecting to your router or access point a quick an easy task.
Buffalo manufactures there own access points with a one button interface to establish a secure connection and although they cannot support every access point and router on the market they have done a excellent job with there software suit to ensure a secure and easy connection.
Out of the box this card seems like any other, with a list of technical speciation that have little meaning to the average user who just wants a secure reliable home network. You would have to use this device to see for yourself to see just how good it is and if unconvinced by this review I would say one thing. The Buffalo wireless PCI card comes complete with a low profile adapter which to anyone with a new Dell computer (such as myself) will know only to well the annoyance of finding decent PCI card that are low profile compatible.
Buffalo have clearly put a lot of effort into this card and insured anyone who buys is will not be disappointed no matter what network configuration they are running or what form factor your computer case is.
