The only buggy you'll ever need!
Review of McLaren Techno Buggy by Wysiwyg78

Advantages: Lighweight, compact, suitable from birth, lots of handy feaures, looks good!
Disadvantages: It's light weight means it is easy to tip up if you hang too many shopping bags from the handles

...always end up buying a Mclaren as well. I laughed off her words, but they couldn't have been more true! We looked everywhere and tried out lots of different buggies, but kept going back to teh Mclaren Techno. The main reasons I like it were that It was light and it looked good. I'm being honest! It also felt much more durable than our Pramette, had a handy viewing window in the hood, so i could keep an eye on my little girl. It also had a handy ...
...my purse and mobile close to hand, without having to root around in my bag every time. It also had enough room in teh shopping basket for most baby essentials. To be honest we weren't looking to pay more than £100 but felt that this buggy was worth the £150 price tag. I wasn't wrong. 6 months down the line and I still love it. It also still looks and feels like new. Hopefully we'll have a new addition to the family in then next 12 months when we ... Read review

Quinny Buzz
Review of Quinny Buzz by civil142

Advantages: Good looking, versatile
Disadvantages: A little awkward to operate

We bought the Quinny Buzz for our baby and found it to be a head turning push chair, light to manoevre and easy to erect (pneumatic hands free) . We bought the maxi-cos cabrio fix car seat and the carry cot to go with it also. which all fit onto thr frame (albeit with little plastic adapters. On the surface and in the shop we were very impressed as it seemed very easy to operate. The pneumatic system is very good however we found that this can ...
...We found overall the Quinny Buzz to be a very nice pushchair but had a lot of show when something simpler would have been far better. We also thought in retrospect that the unit was expensive due to all the pnuematic systems etc, yet some basic issues were a problem. I felt that the securing cable in particular was a real issue as this was impossible for my partner to attch, and this resulted on several occasions with the chassis erecting itself ... Read review

Review of Quinny Zapp by ann_lynch

Advantages: light weight, cheap, folds small, compatable with carseat
Disadvantages: rattles

Ive now had 3 of these, i love it!! I always sell them thinking i have found something better and end up buying another one when i find out im wrong!! Easy to store, great for travelling or for people with small cars, easy to open and fold...meets all of my needs!! Does have a distinctive rattle but you get used to that and there are so many zapp`s around now that you dont tend to notice it. Cosy toes is great and fully covers little one keeping ...
...there are lots of different types available to buy now that fit great!! A great range of colours, easy to clean and can use from birth with a maxi cosi carseat. Name badges etc wear off easily but doesnt affext use of the pushchair and replacements can also be purchased on line. Another hit from Chicco!!!
Review of Chicco 2003 Trio Travel System by Ortu

Advantages: Pram, Pushchair, car seat, carrycot. lots of storage below
Disadvantages: Quite bulky, didn't come with a rain cover

With all the different prams and pushchairs around these days it's quite overwhelming making sure you get the right one. So many of them fit a car seat on top but one with a carrycot we found difficult to find. For small babies it's dangerous to leave them in those car seats for long periods as it shapes their spine. So therefore we definately wanted one that lets baby lie flat. We bought this from Mothercare in 2004 in the January sales so got ...
...They also let you order in advance, tell them due date save having it in the house before the babie arrives. ( helpful if you're supersticious, or just want to make the most of a sale without having huge boxes for months before baby due) Was shocked that we had to buy extras though the New born head support cushion or rain cover were not included we were told about the cushion before purchase however not about the rain cover. The carrycot clips ... Read review

MAJOR safety issue with Phil n Teds E3 Buggy
Review of Phil & Teds Explorer 3 by jbarker2

Advantages: Small compared to other buggies
Disadvantages: Dangerous

...major safety issue with my Phil n Teds E3 and the company's reaction to it has been really unsympathetic. Anyway, my 2.5 year old can undo the clips on the harness that restrains her in the buggy. I discovered this when she undid them in a carpark one day while I was putting her little sister in the car. Miss 2 got out of the buggy and nearly ran across the road. And then it gets worse, next time we used the buggy she undid the harness while we ...
...pulled down), then undid the zips that hold the back of the buggy seat up and the clips that help hold it up too, and **BANG** went the back of the buggy onto her little sister's head. So, just a warning to those thinking about spending a lot of money on this buggy - it can be dangerous and mine is now useless after only 18 months. I am now stuck with a 2.5 year old and a 1.5 year old and no useful buggy. The company says my child is just smart ... Read review
