Maclaren Techno XLR My Trusty friend!
Advantages: Lays flat, sun protection in hood, sturdy, looks good Disadvantages: Small amount of storage, rain cover doesnt cover hood
I bought the Maclaren XLR when my daughter reached 18 months as she was too big for her pram and I wasnt keen on the smaller umbrella buggys. What first attracted me to the buggy was the colour and design I thought it look very stylish and alot nicer than the brighter pinks and flowery ones that are on the market. I was also attracted to the SPF 50 protection that the hood provides as I was going abroad shortly after buying it so was a big plus point. ... ...in use occassionally now (my daughter is 3 years 3 months so does more walking now) I liked the way it lays flat and so is really cosy for them to sleep in and also the foot muff and lovely lining really make it that much warmer in the winter. The buggy folds down really easily with the push of a lever and clips together and has a handle to carry it along. It is still quite bulky in comparision to an umbrella buggy but it is a much wider and taller ...

fab pram
Advantages: great to push great for twins and toddlers Disadvantages: brake is easily broken. no seperate raincovers
MACLAREN TWIN TECHNO ---
Great pram for those shopping trips fits through most standard door ways as its only 76cm wide.
Its a realy good puschair and it comes in a variety of colours and designs, it has two seperare hoods so one can be down and the other can still be up whichis great. Also unlike some double prams you also get the two footmuffs with this and the raincover so you dont need to go buying all the extras!
I found it realy light aswell ... ...baskets
And of course the Maclaren prams are known for being one of the best around there very sturdy and last a very long time.
BAD FEATURES ---
I havent actually found many with this pram the only one i found is that the raincovers arent seperate and the brake is easily broken at the back but other than that its great.
For two babies/children of the same or different ages Suitable from birth Fits through standard door Lockable front swivel ...

Fantastic Funky Maclaren MX3
Advantages: Really funky looking, easy to steer, loads of storage, from birth, travel system Disadvantages: Can't hang bags off handle
...whole travel system. The Maclaren MX3 is incredibly easy to steer, not really wide like a lot of three wheelers, (good for shopping), very large shopping basket, easy to clean, very funky looking. It feels sturdy, but although not a lightweight buggy it's still under 10 kg. The Maclaren MX3 is 'all terrain' but I've only tried it a couple of times on rough ground - it is very good however.Wheels are large and plastic - despite not being air tyres, ... ...lock the front wheel if you want take it 'off road'.
The handle is really comfy (squashy foam type stuff so it doesn't get sweaty) and height adjustable, but you can't hang anything off it as it's a single rail, although as the shopping basket is very spacious I haven't found this a problem yet - and I was always concerned that ANY pram with bags hanging off was at risk of tipping. Other buggy features: it has a zippable viewing window in the hood, ...

Quest
Advantages: Lightweight, folds easily. Disadvantages: Wheels wore down a bit.
...sell them off cheaply as Maclaren change their colours quite frequently.
The handle height is 104cm, it folds like the usual umbrella stroller and has a carry handle for taking on buses etc. The handles are curved in and foam covered for comfort and it is very pleasant to push.
The only downside I found with this pushchair is the wheels wore down quite a lot to give it that flat edged look, Maclaren have now altered the wheels on the Quest to square ...

Ok for twins or young siblings similar ages
Advantages: small, light, umbrella fold Disadvantages: small shopping tray
I bought this pushchair as a smaller replacement for the tandem i had. It is rather light weight compared to most twin strollers, and is one of the smaller width wise ones aswell being able to fit JUST through most standard doorways. It has a 5 point safety harness which seems not only child proof for opening but adult proof aswell! you have to squeeze both sides (top and bottom) of the clip to release it, which is brilliant especially if you have ... ...The seats are independant and lay back almost completely flat which is good if child wishes to lay down for a nap. The raincover is the best invention i have encountered on a pushchair, being one that loops over some pegs which stays put, instead of poppers or velcro which upset toddlers are able to kick off. It comes in three different colours of blue (most common), red and brown, and has an average retail price of £150 which is worth what you pay. ...
