A great stage one pram for babies, but a bit bulky.
Advantages: Easy to steer and fold one handed, looks sturdy and comfortable. Disadvantages: A bit bulky and heavy to lift.
My little boy was born last August and I'm a first time mum. After going round several different shops I finally chose this travel system as it seemed to tick all the boxes. The colours were also neutral so great for a boy or a girl.
I have had excellent use out of this pram, originally using it with the carry cot when my son was first born. The carry cot has a five point safety harness which is very easy to use and I found I could clip my baby ... ...carry cot up until he was about 4 months old by which time he was too big (although he was a long baby when he was born and obviously going to be tall), but smaller babies might use the carry cot for longer.
The car seat was of equal use. It's a rear facing first stage car seat with adjustable five point safety harness. It also had an internal head support which I noticed not all other car seats had, which was particularly useful until he could ...

mothercare urban detour 3 wheeler
Advantages: excellent turning corner, will turn on a pin Disadvantages: bulky to store, heavy too
bought this 5 years ago, with fisrt child. resurrected it from the garage of lost items when 2nd child came along. very difficult to clean, but i like diy, so knuckled down to the task of unscrewing all componenet fabric parts to clean them down. not a job to be recommended i must say, but very satisfying when finally complete. few problems, but not a bad item overall. i agree, weight and storage is an issue, but you can't have it all i fear. i get ... ...my upper arms, and it stops me going mad when shopping, as boot is already full. maneouverability is great urban and extra urban. flat tyres when they happen, are a bummer, and might wreck a solo outing. but it's great round the shops, or out in town, it even gives me the much needed confidence to venture out with the baby. i think this has been discontinued tho hasn't it? with the fist child, when he got older and we got wiser, we bought a smaller ...

Value for money but doesn't take kindly to long frequent walks
Advantages: small when folded, lightweight and reclines Disadvantages: wheels wear really easily
Have had a Jive for just under 12 months now, don't drive so opted for this aas it is easy to fold away and lightweight for transport on buses, really can't ault it for that, however, I have now had to skip it as the wheels have completely work out and all that is left is the plastic rims, nois and now imossible to push. For the price of the buggy, I suppose I got value for money (long walks almost everyday for a year) but don't expect it to last ...

It suited our needs in most ways...
Advantages: Stylish design, comes with all the additional pieces you need Disadvantages: Heavy, may not fit in some car boots
We were bought this upon a recommendation - a very generous gift.
It was from Mothercare, a company we see as experts in baby care, and in store when we purchased it we were given all the answers to the questions we asked. As it was our first baby we really didn't research much at all before we purchased the buggy, but 14 months down the line the purchase has made sense. There are a few minor comments to make, both good and bad. The box it arrived ... ...massive. Once we opened the package, the instructions were extremely clear and putting the buggy together was straightforward and quick- you will have to attach the wheels yourself but the mechanism for this is very very simple, there is a wheel lock so the wheels twist on and lock in, rather than having to find the nearest spanner.
The wheels themselves are inflatable and make for a very smooth ride. In all the time we've had the Sherpa, we have ...

Fab space, very inpractical
Advantages: Good space and Comfort Disadvantages: Large size, hard to manouvere
This buggy is definately a smooth ride for the kids but is is incredibly heavey and hard to steer. I found it really long which was useless for weaving in and out of aisles in smaller shops or avoiding people on the street. The seats are directly behind eachother so if you have an inquisitive younger child at the back they will be stuck stairing at the seat in front, espacially if the covers are up.
When folded it will take up your whole boot (I ... ...shopping bags. However there are few double buggys which will eave you much space anyway.
If you are after a buggy for all terrain, with loads of storage and comfy seats than this buggy is for you. It has good wheels, good space for the kids and is easy to open and close.
If you want to use your buggy for nipping in and out of shops and general ease of use then go for an umbrella fold which is longer when folded but is much smaller when in use. ...
