Well "baby" Poppy is not such a baby anymore! We celebrated her 1st birthday on the 3rd May 2006 and I marked the occasion by returning to work. Look out for me back on here!

Can I just start by saying, i am not a millionaire, nor am I what I would called particularly rich. But I do like to dress my 10 month old baby in nice clothes.
Burberry happens to be my favourite.
I have to admit, I do like to follow the celebrities when it comes to fashion and would like to think I had a reasonable grasp of the latest trends. I became hooked on Burberry childrens clothes after little Brooklyn Beckham was christened in a Burberry outfit! The tv program "Footballers Wives" then confirmed it for me when they had their take-off Beckham family baby christened in a similar outfit for the show :o)
The trademark Burberry design is a brown/cream check design called Nova plaid. A lot of the clothes (including the mens and womens) have an area of the Nova plaid design which makes it stand out as being a genuine Burberry piece. The real Nova plaid (beware as there are a lot of similar materials out there) consists of 3 black lines close together intersecting another 3 black lines close together across a tan colour background.

Various coloured wool jumpers with a big Nova plaid material "B" on the chest.
Girls (6 months onwards) ======================= Pleated kilts in full Nova check design. Jeans and trousers in various colours with Nova plaid turn-ups. Trousers in full Nova plaid material. Dresses with full Nova plaid or coloured with Nova trim in places. Blouses and tops in full Nova check. Blouses and tops in various colours with Nova trim or embellishments such as flowers made in the Nova material. Tights. Shoes. Jackets with Nova plaid lining. Baby (1 month onwards) ===================== Babygrows in various colours with Nova check trim. Vests in various colours with Nova collars. Bibs in full Nova check material. Snowsuits with Nova check trim. Bootees in full Nova pattern or with Nova trim.
The size range varies on a lot of their products. For example, you can buy a babygro in size 1month and also buy the same babygro in size 12months. However, the kilt they currently have starts from size 6months right up to 3 years. They do have a range of older childrens clothes from 4 years up to 16 years which have different styles available.
Cost ==== Burberry baby clothes are very expensive when you compare them to a similar product from a high street shop. However, i believe you are getting a higher quality item but you are also paying mainly for the name. A typical example of costing is as follows: 1) A babygro - £30 2) A pair of jeans - £45 3) A jumper with "B" on the chest - £50 4) A kilt - £50 5) A long sleeved top with Nova detail - £25
A tip to save you a lot of money of all top name baby clothes is to use Ebay (www.ebay.co.uk). I have found many an item either new or gently worn for a fraction of the price of brand new from a retailer! But please, leave some for me ;o)
Lastly, where can you buy Burberry baby clothes? Well, so far I've found them in the following:
The Burberry stores in London (Knightsbridge, Bond Street and Regent Street) Childrens designer boutiques in big towns / cities.
