    Advantages Advantages Good story and well paced

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not for those with weak stomachs

    Author Jack Kerley spent over 20 years as an advertising writer before becoming a novelist. He lives in Kentucky and has spent a lot of time in Alabama which is the setting for many of his books. His writing is a lot more popular in both the UK and Australia that it is in the USA. Jack is married to Elaine and they have a son and daughter. Opinion Jack Kerley has now written 7 of these books in the series featuring Detective Carson Ryder.
