Advantages: Humourous, well written stories.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any?!?

...It's always amazes me how nasty our senses can be at times. Scents that evoke long forgotten memories, seeing things that aren't there and mishearing things you need to hear right first time. I won't give the plot away but when two become one things get a lot clearer and darker for journalist Dan Starkey. The book is brilliant and features more witty one liners than the latest Railtrack apology. Bateman clearly has a talent for writing and a fetish for journalists, it seems most of his characters have indulged in the art, only to find something you never expected in a lifetime of catholic sundays (another trait most of his charecters have in commen). More twists than Chubby Checker and a lot more amusing.... Read review

For Anyone Who Enjoys the Art of Shopping

Advantages: A funny and witty read....excellent for a train/plane journey
Disadvantages: You have to read the other Sophie Kinsella books

Advantages: A moving book
Disadvantages: none

...not in the situations, but in to develop some plot. Final tragedy is not breakup, catharsis, liberation but, as in the modern literature it opens a whole series of questions on the human existence and on his "Because." If Werther, therefore can be read as a beautiful novel of love and art, this spaces to the human condition in its complex not furnishing any univocal answer but leaving "open" the matter....
