If fitting the Environ fire into an opening in a cavity wall or into a void, use a cavity wall box (CAV4241). Failure to do so can result in the pull from the cavity causing heat build up on the fire surround or moisture ingress from the cavity. Existing chimneys and flues must be blocked off completely. With the Environ, a cavity wall box (CAV4241) must also be fitted. All inset appliances require a non-combustible fireplace, hearth and back panel. The hearth must extend at least 100mm from the front and sides of the fire. All materials within 200mm of the appliance must be non-combustible. All materials, including the fireplace, mantel and shelf (including any varnishes, paints, etc) must be rated to withstand a constant working temperature of 150°C. *All gas appliances must be installed by a CORGI qualified engineer and serviced annually. Failure to do so will invalidate all guarantees*.
Advantages: washes reasonably well Disadvantages: expensive to repair, so have to bin it!!

however the drum bearing construction of sealed bearings means that once the bearing fails repair is not cost justifable. which is ok if fails within guarantee period but as usual this has not occured so another load to the landfill. with all the talk of the environment it does seem ironic that they can design such a system.

Advantages: Silent, good suckage Disadvantages: Not easy to order the dust bag
...Our family bought this vacuum cleaner after two dealers came to our house for advertising a new product. After they got know that I am allergic they emphasized its usefulness of elimination all unwanted allergic source. The agents even showed us how does it work and we were convinced of its usefulness. We had the hope to improve our environment more sterile by using Lux 1 Royal instead of our old, very simple vacuum cleaner (I don't even remember any longer the brand).

Openly said, I haven't really realized a big change in my state of allergy but at least I felt somehow more clean towards the environment. The fact that the machine is proven by TÜV gave me a kind of peace. For those who do not know what TÜV stands for, it is a German organizations validating safety of products to protect human and the environment...

...This is really great as you can tell from the first few lines! Got this for around £15 off of ebay, retail price is actually alot more at around £30, so I suggest if your looking for a new kettle definately check out ebay before you do anything else as it simply is a great website for electrical appliances! This unit from Kenwood is cordless with a base unit for boiling your water, it has an inbuilt filter and a measure guide so you don't waste water and save the environment! Well thats the idea anyway! Easy to use and the manual explains all down to actually how to make a good cup of english tea! Its safe and easy to clean with its removable lid! A great buy fully recommended!...
