On returning home, I did an internet search to try and see what would be turning up on our door step in 7 -14 days. It didn’t really reveal much so I guess we were going to have to wait for delivery day. DELIVERY B&Q told us the appliances would come separately from the rest of the kitchen, but 2 days after ordering we had a letter from the “Belling Home Delivery Team” confirming what we had ordered and a delivery date. The date was only 3 days away, but being a home worker it wasn’t much of a problem – if I had a proper job, waiting around all day for a delivery “AM or PM” probably would be a bit inconvenient. Advantages: Reliable and easily maintained. Great value for money.
Disadvantages: Noisy. Docking the kettle onto the base can be problematic.

..., and the thorough usage it's had over a year, we've been more than satisfied with its performance and reliability. Only recently has it developed a tendency to leave spillage on the worktops due to the lid not fitting quite so snug, but as these jug kettles ARE so cheap we've gone and bought a new one. In the latest edition of the Argos catalogue there is now a difference in price between the white and green model of £1 respectively. The white is now £5.48, the green £6.48.
