They don't even use real car tags, such as Ferarri, Lambourgini, Masarrati etc. they only use the cars that don't even exist. Also who would want to start a game with a super car all ready for them? Doesn't that ruin the whole aspect of a racing game? To build up from a terrible car to build up to one of these classical cars, ... ...true, Burnout is still a laugh to play. You may be driving as a car you've never heard but at least it looks exactly like a Dodge Viper. Many of the cars look like exact replicas of those you see in real life and I haven't even got started on the gameplay. The gameplay is awesome, driving on the wrong side of the road gets your boost up then you can sneakily take a detour but end up being in first place; or on the other hand if you're a hardcore ...

Top notch racing Review ofBurnout Revenge (Xbox 360)by
fuzzybear967
Advantages: Great racing and crashes Disadvantages: none
...is fair to say that Burnout Revenge is probably one of the best racing games that I have ever had the pleasure to own and play. The action is relentless, the gaming experience a joy to behold with smooth controls great visuals and a drop dead top notch soundtrack.
The main mode on which play is centred is the World Tour where you compete in a number of races as you attempt to rise through the ranks. One thing that does require careful thought before ... ...about this version of the Burnout series of games is that now you can use pedestrians cars as weapons to wipe out your opponents by gently (or not so gently in some cases) nudging them into the oppositions path.
The artificial intelligence in the game is good and no matter how well you drive there will always be opponents around you so tactical awareness of how close you are to the finish plays a big part in your success.
There is loads of mayhem ...

Advantages: Very nice visual effects. Disadvantages: Slightly too easy.
...who are unfamiliar with the Burnout heritage, here it is in a nutshell. You jump is outragously fast cars (though non real due to car manufacturers not wanting their cars to get trashed in a game) and hit the road, plowing through traffic and obstacles during a variety of different game modes such as Race, Crash Mode and Traffic Attack. You gain boost from smashing things and can use it to pull up the road behind you.
Burnout Revenge is achingly ... ...shunted up since the last Burnout outing, now providing photo-realistic crashes and smashes to drool over. Plus, Revenge also works in HD (High Definition) so the graphics will be crisper than ever before. You'll want to plow headlong into a wall over and over just to see the effect, which is okay because of the fantastic crashbreaker system. By pressing B when lying as a twisted piece of metal in the road, your car turns into a mini sun complete ...

Advantages: Frantic, fun and plain old awesome! Disadvantages: Gets a little repetitive after a while
This is one of those games that needs practice to be good at, yeah you can pick up and play it, but I have a friends who is amazing on this game its just unreal- he has stupidly fast reactions!
This is one of the fasted most frantic game I have ever played! The idea is similar to street racing- you need to be the first to cross the line and it dont matter how you do it. Except this game has a slight twist, if you do something daring (like drive ... ...used makes you go even faster- much like 'NOS' gas but permenant.
The game has about 30 tracks for you to learn and a career mode that has some interesting and fun games... My personal favourite is 'cause as much damage as possible one' where you smash into loads of cars and watch the pile up :D
Online the experience is good too... Its a smooth server that lets you face opponents across Europe in thrilling battles. But be wary they no EVERY shortcut ...

Advantages: Longevity of game as it's good to play over and over again Disadvantages: Can get a bit difficult in later levels
...highly enjoyable game fron the Burnout series.
All the old favourite events are still there from previous games, and are just as much fun to play.
Crashes are spectacular and a great sense of satisfaction is reached when you manage one of the title moves. I've always found these games good for letting off steam and have found them very addictive to play.
Great graphics and good soundtrack which pumps along as you go causing your carnage. The World ... ...play through, which gives you great value for your money.
The crash breakers level is so much fun and sometimes even funnier when you manage to drive through and not hit a thing (which I have done quite a few times). You could guarantee if that is what you where actually meant to do I hit every single thing on and off the road. It's great when you get it right though and watch the points and the carnage pile up.
Would recommend this game as a great ...

Advantages: Big City to Explore, Lots of Cars, Excellent looking Crashes Disadvantages: Hard to Use Map/GPS, Having to find your own Races
...its good points and bad points. Such as if you fail a race, you cannot simply pause and restart it, which means you have to drive all the way back to beable to re-race.
There's roughly 75 cars to unlock by working your way up the ranks and crashing peoples cars. Which are then sent to your tip.
The game has a newly designed crash mode, which is now called 'Showtime'. You can start this whenever you want by simply pressing the LB and RB buttons simultaniously and then bouncing about tapping a to use a little boost to get further, and for each car you hit your boost meter gradiually increases.
My Opinion.
I rented this game to see how it was before I decided to buy it. I'm not normally the type to play racing games but I'd played BurnoutRevenge also on the Xbox360, and really enjoyed every minute of it.
So once I...

Advantages: Great Cutscene Footage, HD Support, Realistic sound and detail Disadvantages: AI is dumb then gets very clever, Needs more cutscenes!, some graphical glitches
...become fustrating at times because of this.
Beware graphical gltiches also in this game they quite noticeable at times, also the frame rate can lag at times. Something to be fixed in NFS:Carbon, coming out soon.
What about xbox live play?, not too good for online racing 4 players in a race, not that exhilirating not many race modes for online, i recommend BurnoutRevenge for online xbox live play definaently the best online racer at the moment for the 360 (in my opinion)
Overall, a great arcade racer for the 360, and the first next generation NFS, hopefully NFS:Carbon will have a lot more to offer, but i recommend this game if you've brought any other NFS games, it's a great fun start to the next generation NFS....
