Advantages: The language and the story-line is reallly intriguing. Disadvantages: I honestly cannot think of any.
Necropolis, written by AnthonyHorowitz, is the fourth installment of the "Power of Five", 5 book series about 5 children who have the power to save the world from evil creatures called "The Old Ones".
The book starts before "Nightrise" ends, but from the point of view of Scarlett Adams, the protaganist and the fifth gatekeeper. There is a brief review of all 4 previous books incase the reader cannot remember or has missed a book out in the series, which I found very useful since I read the previous book about a year before this one. It starts off straight into the action as a 13 year old Scarlett almost gets hit by a van whilst not looking when crossing a road. She is saved by a mysterious chinese man who disappears before she can thank him for his actions.
The book then moves 2 years into the future and Scarlett is on a school trip ...

Nightrise is a novel by AnthonyHorowitz, and is the third book in "The power of five" series, after "Evil Star" and "Raven's Gate".
Unlike the two books preceding it, this book follows Scott and Jamie Tyler, telepathic twins. I find this strange to have two of the five in one book, because it was one per book in the other two.
Although the book is about both Jamie and Scott, Scott plays only a very small role, and speaks even less (15 lines at the most), but that may be due to the fact he was kidnapped (always helps people say less).
I find this book to be less scary and supernatural than the other two, which is strange, because the front cover looks very evil (but don't judge a book by it's cover).
In this book, the timeline starts to get a little confusing, especially as there are actually three worlds that the story takes ...

Now in this book, i havent got all the way through but i've got half way through and at the moment, its brilliant.
