...was until (drumroll!) I discovered Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme!
Although this product is described as a 'cuticle' creme, it is in fact a moisturiser for the whole nail. The packaging claims it is 'a soothing blend of natural ingredients for intensive care of dry cuticles, brittle nails and chapped, cracked fingertips' and I have to say it is a mini-miracle!
Burt's Bees Inc was founded in the late 1980's in the U.S state of Maine, when ... ...grew, but the popularity of Burt's Bees products is undoubtably due to the fact that almost everything this company makes contains between 90-100% natural ingredients. And the fact that these products really work!
This cuticle creme comes in a 60 oz. tub and is made from 94.91% natural ingredients, including sweet almond oil, beeswax, lemon oil, cocoa butter, rosemary extract and beta-carotene. The high percentage content of lemon oil means this ...

Only OK Review ofBurt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cremeby

Advantages: Smells great, natural product Disadvantages: I didn't find it very effective
I really like most of the Burts Bees range, but I just did not get on at all with this cuticle creme. I suspect it might be as much about my inexperience with using cuticle moisturisers as with this creme itself. I don't usually do much with my nails, so I can' really compare this to any similar products.

Advantages: smells great Disadvantages: my nails!

The Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream incorporates lemon oil, which feels like it softens the nail, moisturizing ingredients such as cocoa butter, almond oil, and lanolin, as well as beeswax to seal in moisture are all in the little tin. It smells reat and feels good as well.
The ingredients above have changed my nails from ...

Advantages: Moisturises your cuticles/nails, not tested on animals Disadvantages: None I can think of!
...I sometimes do early morning cleaning before I start work (to earn some extra pennies!) and because of this my hands can get dry which affects my nails and my cuticles. Therefore I thought it was a good idea to invest in a product which would help to alleviate my nail/cuticle problem and I came across this 'Bert's BeesLemonButterCuticleCreme'. I have tried Bert's Bees products before and have loved them and this particular product is no different!
The cuticle cream comes in a metal tin with a lid you simply pull on and push back on again. It is yellow in colour and has a picture of two lemons on the front of it. Around the side in red letters is written 'Burt's BeesLemonButterCuticleCreme'
Once you open the lid you get hit with this lovely lemony smell. I don't think its too strong, but then again I like the smell of lemons...

Before I discuss this gem of a facial scrub, let me give you a brief history of the Burt's Bees company and product range. Formed in the late 1980's in the U.S state of Maine, by a beekeeper called Burt (well he wasn't going to be called Arthur, was... more
