Bus Driver - Drive a bus on your PC

Advantages Good game, entertaining, inexpensive, quite a few buses and missions
Disadvantages Could do with better graphics, will eventually get repetitive
As I am a fan of various simulation games such as Railworks, Microsoft Train simulator and Microsoft flight simulator X, I took a gamble and bought Bus Driver.
I thought it would be something different to what I already had and indeed it was. The layout of the menus is straight forward, with the settings in one corner and the 'Play' button in another. This button takes you to the missions, where you can drive one of many buses on a specific route. There are different tiers of missions and as you complete some from tier 1, you unlock tier 2 and so on. There are quite a few buses and routes to choose from. The game is very quick to load and I am pleased to report that an average computer can run the game smoothly (some tweaking of the settings may be needed). The controls are also very simple, with the expected forwards, reverse and turn keys and one on each side for indicators and mirrors if needed. The door open button is programmed as 'enter' by default, so easy to find and use. For a seemingly 'arcade' style game, the buses handle well and they are easy to keep under control and in the correct lane of the road. Dependant on the settings, the graphics may vary on different people's computers, however I thought the graphics were 'good' but not breathtaking (on my laptop anyway). Bus Driver makes the bus simulation idea fun and not too 'intense' and certainly does not require serious skill to play the game and enjoy it. To be honest, after you have completed all the missions, you may tire of this game, but it will keep you going for a reasonable amount of time. It was also quick to install and did not require too much hard drive space and I bought it for only £10.
The creators of the game could have worked on the people who wait at the bus stop, as 2d shapes of commuters 'teleport' themselves into the bus when making stops, instead of people walking onto the bus. The scenery and traffic on the roads could use some enhancing in terms of graphics, but for that price it didn't bother me too much.Overall, this game may be worth getting if you are after something different because it is cheap and just a bit of fun. A good game that is entertaining 8/10
As a guide, I ran this game fine on my Laptop that has:2GB ram
Intel Celeron C900 @ 2.2GHz
Intel GMA 4500M Integrated graphics
1366 X 768 Resolution
